Guests: | Dr. Harvey Bigelsen, Greg Hunter |
Bigelsen doesn't believe in the germ approach to medicine-- germs aren't harmful but live in a symbiotic relationship with the human body, he explained. However, germs can grow out of control in areas of obstructed or trapped inflammation, like a surgical scar, he said. Sites such as this, he believes, are the cause of Lyme disease rather than tick bites, and can be treated with neural therapy and isopathic remedies (more here).
He suggested seeking a naturopathic or osteopathic doctor as your primary care physician. Dr. Bigelson employs a method of looking at a patient's live blood cells under a darkfield microscope. American medicine stains the blood which kills and fixes it, but "there's so many live things in the blood," that can yield diagnostic information, he noted. He offers a "remote blood consult" through his office (email info).
Current Events Commentary
First hour guest, investigative reporter Greg Hunter talked about the Republican presidential candidates, and the results in the Iowa caucus. The mainstream press has already anointed Mitt Romney to be the candidate to face Obama, regardless of the primaries, he commented (see his related column). Regarding the economy, it can't be fixed "until you fix the banks and the financial system, and get the banks and Wall St. to quit rigging the system so they always win," he said. Hunter also speculated on war scenarios with Iran, suggesting that both Russian and China would come to Iran's defense.News segment guest: Richard C. Hoagland
