Coast to Coast AM - 2012.01.27 - Chemtrails & Morgellons / Open Lines

Chemtrails & Morgellons / Open Lines

Chemtrails & Morgellons / Open Lines

Date: 01-27-12
Host: Rob Simone
Guests: Clifford Carnicom, Open Lines
Filling in for George Noory, Rob Simone ( email) welcomed independent researcher Clifford Carnicom in the first half of the program for an exposé on the profound impact of chemtrails. Clifford said he prefers the term 'aerosol' in lieu of 'chemtrail,' as the former is more accurate in describing the introduction of particulate matter into the air. "Our environment has been altered," he stated unequivocally, noting how the Earth's atmosphere has been modified by the "largest covert operation that has ever been conducted on this planet." Carnicom explained that the ubiquitous aerosol streaks in the sky are part of a multi-pronged program, which includes environmental modification and control, biological and electromagnetic operations, military  applications, geophysical considerations, advanced light-wave surveillance, and detection of ionic disturbances (i.e., UFO propulsion systems).

According to Carnicom, the health of the entire global population has been affected to a significant degree by these aerosols. It has been strongly established that barium salts are in the airborne particulate matter, he continued. Soluble salts of barium are highly toxic, with the level of toxicity matching arsenic, he added. Carnicom also reported on a baffling ailment known as Morgellons disease, a condition he described as characterized by skin lesions and the presence of unusual filaments. He revealed that many people could be suffering from Morgellons but show no outward signs because the filaments are internal. Carnicom commented on a recent CDC report that dismissed the condition as the product of mentally unstable and delusional minds, and pointed out some issues he had with the study's methodology.

Open Lines:

During Friday night's Open Lines, Mike, a former private pilot living in Arizona, asserted that three commercial airline pilots have confirmed to him the reality of chemtrails. According to Mike, the chemtrails he has witnessed spread from horizon to horizon, filling the sky in a dense crisscross pattern that eventual ushers in cirrus clouds. Mike said he has conducted his own air sample tests and detected barium as well as very fine aluminum powder. A caller to the 'insider hotline' suggested that a chemical additive, with antifreeze and antibacterial properties, put into aircraft fuel tanks at refueling could be to blame for chemtrail sightings. Barry, a retired biochemist from South Carolina, recalled visiting his pharmaceutical company's headquarters in the 1970s to find researchers there working on a large-scale secret project to inoculate humans from various diseases by spraying chemical concoctions into the atmosphere from planes.

Trends for 2012

Date: 01-05-12
Host: Rob Simone
Guests: Gerald Celente, Nick Redfern
Filling in for George, Rob Simone (email) welcomed trends analyst Gerald Celente for a conversation about what he foresees as the major trends for 2012. Here are several of them that he highlighted:
  • Economic Martial Law-- Considering the current economic and geopolitical conditions, central banks and world governments already have plans in place to declare economic martial law, and "bank holidays" could be announced at any time, he warned.
  • Battlefield America-- With the signing of the National Defense Authorization Act in December, the military can take US citizens away without charges. As such, America has been declared a battlefield, though the mainstream media has barely noticed, he commented.
  • Invasion of the "Occtupy"-- The leaderless Occupy Wall St. movement has multiplied and grown into a "giant, formless creature with tentacles that reach around the globe." Celente sees this as a successful movement, and a megatrend of the new millennium.
  • Alternative Energy 2012-- A new crop of exciting energy possibilities are on the horizon. "There's a rumor going out that Home Depot has bought the rights," to a cold fusion type device, as developed by Andrea Rossi in Italy, and that could be a real game changer that lifts up the economy, he said.
Other trends he talked about included "affordable sophistication," in which even during economic hardship people crave style and quality, and "Big Brother Internet," where the government may require Internet users to present the equivalent of a driver's license to navigate cyberspace. He also suggested that the conflict with Iran will heat up, possibly turning into a full-fledged war, now that the US has imposed sanctions on Iran, with no countries being able to buy oil from them.

Secret Facilities

First hour guest, author and researcher Nick Redfern talked about top secret facilities around the world such as Area 51, HAARP, and Australia's Pine Gap facility. Lesser known is a well-guarded installation located in Zhitkur, Volgogradskaya Oblast, that has been called Russia's Area 51. There've been rumors of back-engineering of alien craft, alien autopsies, and the development of alien viruses as bioweapons taking place there, he detailed. Redfern also discussed vaults and catacombs that are said to run underneath the Vatican, and contain massive amounts of gold, priceless paintings and religious artifacts.

Coast to Coast AM - 2011.12.28 - Mushrooms & Origins of Christmas

Mushrooms & Origins of Christmas

Mushrooms & Origins of Christmas

Date: 12-28-11
Host: Rob Simone
Guests: Jan Irvin, Linda Schurman
Filling in for George, Rob Simone (email) welcomed author and researcher Jan Irvin for a discussion on the earliest known forms of religion and nature worship and their connections to our modern religions and holidays; and how special plants used in shamanic rituals, including the Amanita muscaria mushroom, were ingested by those seeking higher consciousness. According to some academics & Cabalists, in the story of Adam & Eve, the Tree of Knowledge was actually the magic mushrooms, he noted, adding that in the ancient Vedic (India) tradition, "soma" is described as a plant or fruit that brings spiritual enlightenment. Scholars today suspect that soma was a mushroom or similar substance.
Irvin connected the origins of Christmas and Santa Claus to the use of psychedelic mushrooms and shamanism. Santa Claus evolved from Herne, the ancient shamanic god of Europe and Siberia, to Pan the licentious Roman god who imbibed mushrooms, to Krampus, St. Nicholas's devilish helper who dealt out punishment to naughty children, he detailed. Even Santa's red and white garb mirrors the look of the Amanita mushroom, he continued.
Regarding current religious uses of mushrooms, James "Flaming Eagle" Mooney of the Oklevueha Native American Church told Irvin that Native Americans still very much respect the Amanitas and the mushrooms, even though their church is more recognized for their use of peyote. Interestingly, Mooney and his associates are working on research that shows that the Mormon religion was originally founded on both the use of peyote and the Amanita muscaria, Irvin reported.

2012 Predictions

First hour guest, professional astrologer Linda Schurman shared her predictions for 2012, and reviewed some of her accurate hits for 2011. She'd foreseen that 2011 would be the beginning of a second American revolution-- and cited the Occupy Wall Street movement as evidence for that. Over the next several years, she predicts that the Occupy movement will gain strength and cohesion, and possibly form a third political party. For 2012, she foresees major tectonic activity with earthquakes possibly occurring in Mexico, California, the Northwest Coast of the US, Japan, Alaska, Chile, Iceland, and Italy, with the most intense period being April through June. She also sees the economy continuing to falter in the new year, a worldwide water crisis, and a protest similar to Tiananmen Square happening in China in the Spring.

Jan Irvin sent in a set of images to accompany his 12/28/11 appearance. He writes of this image: "Amanita is the mushroom of the fairy tales, the mushroom of the elves and gnomes and dwarves. And of course Santa Claus has elves – Santa is an Elf. Santa is also the mushroom, shown here with his red and white garb and black boots – just like the mushroom." Coast to Coast AM
Ancient Aliens
Date: 12-04-11
Host: Rob Simone
Guests: Philip Coppens, Alex Jones, Greg Hunter
Guest host Rob Simone (email) welcomed internationally renowned investigative journalist and author, Philip Coppens, who discussed Earth mysteries such as the Nazca lines and evidence for the existence of ancient visitation of astronauts from outer space. "Our ancestors definitely believed that we were not alone," Coppens declared, citing numerous cultures where their writings and traditions state that the 'gods' lived among them. He speculated that part of the reason why it is not better known that our ancestors were influenced by off-world beings is because their descendants were so poorly treated by Western culture that they became reticent to share this secret knowledge.
He also noted that the ancient astronaut theory faces two roadblocks from academia: the mainstream cannot accept that our ancestors held these beliefs and also refuse to contemplate that we are not alone. However, Coppens was optimistic by recent changes in the scientific community as the concept of panspermia, which suggests life originated elsewhere and naturally arrived on Earth, has begun to gain supporters. Additionally, he noted that there are some mainstream scientists who have suggested that ETs have visited our planet in the past, albeit before the dawn of human history. Coppens vehemently disagreed with this limited perspective, saying "archaeological, anthropological, mythological, and historical evidence from our ancestors clearly shows that this contact happened within the lifespan of human habitation."
Coppens pointed to the Nazca Lines as one instance where academia was forced to change their perspective on the abilities and culture of an ancient people. To that end, he credited pioneering esoteric researcher Erich Von Daniken, who championed the site as evidence for ancient astronauts and spawned intense interest in the mysterious landmark. Coppens observed that, after forty years of researchers studying the Nazca Lines, "they really have had to concluded that, yes, indeed, these people could take to the air." One potential form of flight used by the Nazca creators, he suggested, are seen in small artifacts known as "gold flyers," which scientists claim represented winged insects. However, Coppens pointed out that, in the 1990's, German engineers reconstructed a scale model "gold flyer" and it "flew perfectly."

NDAA Concerns

In the first half hour, Alex Jones talked about the National Defense Authorization Act, a piece of legislation that recently passed both houses of Congress and may have dire effects on civil liberties. He warned that, if the act is implemented, "it is truly an end of our Republic" and cited an ACLU study of the bill which called it "the most unconstitutional legislation in modern history." Facets of the bill which particularly trouble Jones are that it allows for the end of posse comitatus, which bars the military from domestic operations, and that it gives the Pentagon the right to secretly arrest Americans and hold them without a trial.

Iran Drone Claims

In the second half hour, Greg Hunter responded to the news that Iran claims to have shot down a US spy drone. While the American government has dismissed the severity of this claim, Hunter explained that the craft in question is "no little balloon" and actually costs 6 million dollars and boasts a 65-90 foot wingspan. As such, he surmised that, if Iran is telling the truth, they will showcase this downed craft to the media and possibly take action against the US. Hunter was particularly concerned that Iran could cut off access to the Straight of Hormuz, a critical oil shipping route, which would cause oil prices to skyrocket, and could, ultimately, set off a global conflagration.
